- A large cornice return and heavy modillions are in the eave on the front of the house
- Large center brick chimney
- Many cross hips and gables in the roof
- 8/1 sash some arch top windows, fanlights, 4/4 sash
- Front doorway has a broken pediment with large pilasters
- House at front gate was servants quarters (possibly a gate lodge) - stone chimney similar to stone gate piers
- 6/6 sash, double gable roof effect may or may not be original. Large porch on west side
- The well house is a gable on a fieldstone foundation. The gable end has cornice returns and a window entry is gained through one of two copper roof hatches
Importance:built by Charles M. Ams local industrialist who gave his name to the village of Turnerville to become Amston. Ams headed the Amston Motor Car Company.
