Notable Architectural Features:

- Window on main facade are floor length and are fully glazed with six panes of glass
- Side ell has a shed dormer
- Doorway has pilaasters with an Interesting Greek key motif - milti-paned transom light
- From all appearances the entablature may have been removed to accommodate new porch across front and north side, built during the twentieth century
- Triangular multipaned window in the tympanum of main pediment
- Foundation is not visible from public access
Importance:This building was the home of Phineas W. Turner, owner of the Turner silk Company. At one time this was the principle industry of Amston; and the area was then known as Turnerville.
Notes:"A gracious late Federal house, with large ell, dignified pilasters and fine detail at the entrances. The triangular attic light and fine old trees add further interest to the facade."
