Importance:This building has been altered so drastically that it is difficult to fully determine its form. The Gambrel roofed rear, built prior to 1800, was moved in 1904 from a site on route 85 next to the Hewitt house. [This info not on WPA Architectural Survey, ca. 1935 - # 15]

Exterior The old rear part has a gambrel roof, steep, and with plain narrow cornice. Little of old work has survived a recent reconditioning.
